MCC Athletics announces Academic All-Region honors
The Marshalltown Community College athletic department has been informed by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) that 92 MCC student-athletes qualified for Spring Academic All-Region honors.
MARSHALLTOWN – The Marshalltown Community College athletic department has been informed by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) that 92 MCC student-athletes qualified for Spring Academic All-Region honors. First Team honorees must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 to 4.0, and Second Team honorees must have a 3.0 to 3.49 GPA.
The Tiger baseball team qualified 24 players: First Team honorees include Adam Carmichael of Whitby, ON; Anderson Schirm of Pella, IA; Brady Baker of Sioux City, IA; Chase Bauer of Anoka, MN; Clayton Feldman of Marion, IA; Cole Knewtson of Minnetonka, MN; Cooper Oberbroeckling of Martinsdale, IA; Cullen Krueger of Rogers, MN; Gabe Weighner of Waukon, IA; Ian Rodriguez of Stillwater, MN; Jack Hilgenberg of Waukee, IA; Jack Riley of Harrisburg, SD; Justin Dandeneau of Sudbury, ON; Nolan Johnson of New London Spicer, MN; Tony DiRienzo of Commerce City, CO; and Tyler Hand of Totino Grace, MN.
